The Administrator Arts Workshop is designed for Principals and District Office Leaders, and is hosted by the DEED, in partnership with the Alaska Arts Education Consortium and the Bering Strait School District. Priority will be given to administrators of schools on the DEED Comprehensive Support and Improvement list.
This one-day session, right before the Alaska Principals’ Conference, addresses a common need to improve student engagement with learning that leads to positive outcomes, in alignment with school improvement efforts. It is designed to increase local impact by arming administrators with effective strategies to meet their needs, interests and experience levels in order to amplify learning in and through the arts.
When: Friday, October 25th, 2019 from 8am-5pm, followed by a reception from 5:30-6:30 pm
Where: Hotel Captain Cook, followed by reception at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center.

Please note: The Arts Administrator Workshop will reimburse up to $800, and cover your lodging at the Hotel Captain Cook. If you are already registered at the Hilton for the Principals Conference we will pay for an extension of stay to include the nights of October 24 and 25,
