This Institute offers an opportunity to refresh your teaching practices, learning creative ways to integrate puppetry, music, movement and cultural arts into your classroom curriculum.

Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

SEL helps young people grow into confident, caring citizens. As a tool for making meaning and communication, the arts can have a profound impact on the social emotional health of our students.

Join this SEL institute, get immersed in arts and culture, and develop the knowledge and skills to benefit your classroom & curriculum.
