Celebrate our Arts Champions

Honor an Alaskan individual or organizations who champions the arts in education

The Alaska Arts Education Consortium advances teaching and learning in and through the arts across Alaska.

AAEC serves educators across the traditional homelands of the Alaska Native peoples, the original stewards of this land. We honor the Iñupiaq, Dene, Yup’ik and Cup’ik, Sugpiaq, Lingít, Haida, Tsimshian, and Unangax̂, who continue to live, practice, and adapt their ancient cultural traditions. As we advance teaching and learning in and through the arts across Alaska, we are grateful for the privilege to grow from their deep cultural wisdom.
