An Interaction with Northwest Coast Formline Design with Abel Ryan
Participants will learn some of the history of Formline design and create a Formline design from start to finish. No prior drawing experience is necessary.
Abel Ryan is a Tsimshian visual artist and carver based in Juneau, Alaska. He is a teaching artist with a lot of experience teaching elementary students the foundations of Formline design.
Materials needed: pencil, eraser, paper, colored pencils or markers (red and black).
