The arts can have a profound impact on the social emotional health of your students. Social Emotional Learning education helps increase self-awareness and thus develops positive behaviors in and out of the classroom. It also helps young people grow into confident, caring citizens who are better equipped to later navigate the pressures of adult life.

Join this SEL institute, get immersed in arts and culture, and develop the knowledge and skills to benefit your classroom & curriculum.

Ketchikan and other school districts have scholarships to cover the costs of registration.  Please check with your appropriate staff member to see if they are reimbursing teachers or paying AAEC directly.

NOTE:  if you are attending on a scholarship from your district and your district will pay AAEC directly (Ketchikan, BSSD, Nome, Kodiak, maybe others) then be sure to complete the registration process by:

• at the end of the registration form go to payment options

• click on the INVOICE payment option

• do not pay.  By requesting an invoice you have completed the registration process
