Expired Kodiak Science Literacy and the Arts Institute

This Virtual Arts Institute will be centered on Science & Literacy integration. Four teacher-leaders will bring their unique arts strengths, knowledge and skills to share with participants.

As with all Institutes, application of theory through hands-on practice will fill the days. Supporting literacy instruction through the arts is the overall goal and will include reflection on local indigenous knowledge. AAEC believes that teaching the arts with other subjects strengthens learning in all fields.

This Institute is supported by a DEED grant aimed largely at TSI/CSI designated school teachers. (Others accepted if room.)
