This 5-day Culturally Responsive Arts Institute builds on the role teachers can play in classrooms to help develop culturally inclusive attitudes and values necessary for a democratic society. Every day will be a dynamic mix of theory and hands-on practice. Join us and others from around Alaska while seeing the state and forming new bonds.
Four teacher-leaders will bring their unique arts strengths, knowledge, and skills to share with participants, including visual, performing and cultural arts.
