From our long-time executive director, Barbara Short:
“I have considered retiring for the past couple of years, but my love for the work delayed my decision. However, now feels like the right time.
I would like to thank everyone on the board for their wonderful commitment, energy, and willingness to volunteer. I look forward to working with you in the future to continue to assure that our Alaskan students receive a quality education that includes the arts.”
We have so much gratitude to Barbara for her dedication in serving Alaska’s educators so that our children have opportunities to learn in and through the arts, and wish her well on her next adventures.
