AAEC has hired the long-time arts educator, Barbara Short, as it’s new executive director. Barbara worked for the Fairbanks School District for 25 years as an art educator and continues to support all the arts as crucial to a modern education. Â She was part of the group that found AAEC, and has been active since then–so the transition should be smooth.
