The Alaska Arts Education Consortium headed up an effort last year to rewrite the Art Content Standards.  A diverse committee from throughout Alaska worked long and hard to redesign these standards.
The new proposed Art Standards have been presented to the public and feedback was solicited with the deadline ending on February 12th.  Now the State Board of Education has the opportunity to review the feedback and make a decision sometime this spring.
